You don't need any of this to get the meetings. The Standard pass gets you the floor, every session, the reception and the Match App, and the Affiliate Pass is a Standard pass. This page exists so the whole thing is in front of you before you decide, rather than discovered at a velvet rope on day two.

The honest read on upgrading
Here's the trap with VIP passes at most events. You assume the lounge is where the big operators are. Mostly it's other people who bought VIP passes hoping to find the big operators.
So here's the test. Name the specific person or the specific room an upgrade gets you. If you can, it's worth it. If you can't, it isn't.
Premium earns its place if the Basic level of the Match App gets you more of the requests you actually want accepted, or if the half-day activity puts you in a small group with people you couldn't otherwise request. Small rooms are where "the side events were worth it" comes from.
Platinum earns its place if you're holding a run of meetings and want the lounge as your table, the awards night as a room full of the networks on your list, and playback for the sessions you'll miss because you were in meetings. It's the pass for a buyer who's going to Rome to work the diary, not walk the floor.
If your five people are on the list and the Limited level lets you request them, Standard is the answer, and nobody at AGS will argue with you.
